Browser-based redaction tools have a fundamental security flaw: they cannot truly remove text from a PDF. Here is why we moved to a desktop application.

Desktop Ensures Irreversible Redaction
A native desktop application can modify the PDF at the object level, removing text content streams entirely, not just covering them. This is the only way to guarantee redacted text cannot be recovered.
